What is Ozone ?
Ozone(O3) is also known as "Activated Oxygen". It contains three atoms of oxygen(O2) bigger than two atoms we normally breathe. Ozone which exists in our earth atmosphere is a protective layer that protects us from harmful UV rays of the sun.
How does Ozone being created naturally and synthetically?
Ozone is formed naturally by the Ultra-Violet Rays from the sun and by lightning. Ozone can also be created synthetically by passing air through a corona discharge ozone chamber (electrical reaction) or Ultra-Violet lamp (photochemical reaction). Some of the oxygen molecules split into two separate oxygen atoms. These single atoms then form semi-unstable bonds with the oxygen molecules (O2+O1=O3/Ozone). These oxygen molecules are highly reactive. This reactivity is because of the third atom of oxygen, also know as a 'Hungry Atom'. This atom being very eager to break away from this unstable bond and react with any oxidizable compound (organic or inorganic). The Ozone created by corona discharge method is much highly concentrated as compared to ozone created by ultra-violet rays.
What is the life span of Ozone?
Ozone is extremely unstable and short in life span. It will break up into oxygen in 20 to 30 minutes (depending on the temperatures of the surrounding). It is very susceptible to heat, thus once ozonated water is being heated, ozone will convert back into oxygen quickly. Ozone cannot be stored and must be generated on site and used instantly.
What is the smell of Ozone?
Ozone has natural grass herby smell. The 'fresh, clean ' smells that we notice after a thunder storm is actually the nature's creation of ozone. Ozone is the nature's way of purifying and disinfecting the air of our environment.
Is Ozone safe to use?
Ozone is the safest and most powerful oxidant known today. It performs 3,000 times faster than chlorine as a bactericide and 5 times faster than ultra-violet ray for air and water treatment. Ozone as an oxidant decomposes contaminants or chemically alters them so that they can be harmless to us. For Example:
Carbon Monoxide (CO) + Ozone(O3) = Carbon Dioxide(CO2) + Oxygen(O2)
The above proved that ozone can chemically alters the toxic Carbon Monoxide and convert it to harmless Carbon Dioxide without creating harmful residue to our environment.
How does Ozone act as disinfectant?
Ozone is extremely active. When it encounters with bacteria, Ozone will interferes with the metabolism of bacterium-cells, through inhibiting and blocking the operation of the enzymatic control system. A sufficient amount of ozone will breaks through the cell membrane and leads to the destruction of the bacteria. Thereafter, the rest of ozone naturally reverts to oxygen very quickly.
Is Ozone harmful to human?s body?

1. What type of container should I use?
All types of containers you may find in kitchen whether plastic, glass or stainless steel can be used to ozone your food; however, as the oxidation power of ozone is strong, you may find plastic container will be oxidized ( harden ) fast. As for glass or stainless steel container, the above situation will not occur.
2. How much water should I use?
In order to achieve maximum effect in decomposing the toxic chemical in food, we would suggest at least 3 liters of water be used and the depth of the water should be at least 13cm.
3. How long should I treat the vegetables, meat and sterilizing kitchen utensils?
When the above requirements (Question 2) are fulfilled, we recommend you to treat the meat for 20 minutes, fruit & vegetables for 15 minutes and sterilizing kitchen utensils for 15 minutes.
4. After sterilizing my room (when PZ-111 stopped), why should I wait for another 30 minutes before I can enter my room?
When the concentration of ozone is too high it may affect our respiratory system; however, if we wait for another 30 minutes, the ozone will convert back to oxygen leaving no negative effect to our respiratory system but more oxygen for our lung to breathe in.
5. Why should I switch on the ventilation system (fan or air-condition) when I sterilize my room?
Ozone has three atoms of oxygen and is heavier than oxygen molecules (O2), when the air ventilation is strong; the sterilizing process will be much more effective as it will cover the entire areas and without any hidden corner.
6. How high is the concentration of ozone being released to air during the treatment of food?
The dissolvable power of ozone in water is 13 times stronger than oxygen; most of the ozone created by PZ-111 will already been dissolved in water leaving only partial ozone being released to air. Therefore, the concentration of ozone being released is actually low and we need not to worry about it.
7. Will ozone affect the nutrients of food?
Ozone has been discovered for more than100 years and it has being used in the food industry for long without knowing to many of us. For example: the fruit and vegetables shipping container is being equipped with ozone generator to kill bacteria and prolong the freshness of fruits during the long shipping journey at sea. The mineral water that we consume also uses the ozone technology for sterilization. 8. Do I need to replace any part periodically?
Generally, there is no need to replace any internal part of PZ-111, our product is made based on corona discharge concept, the corona cell can last for a few years without any maintenances. The only part that may need to be replaced is only the silica tube and bubbles stone which you can find it easily in most of the aquarium and pet shop in low cost.
9. I am consuming organic vegetables, do I still need PZ-111 since organic vegetables is already pesticides free?
Yes, even though you might have been consuming organic vegetables; however, the composite fertilizer that come from animals waste might contained bacteria which may be harmful to us, unless you fully cooked all your organic vegetables or the bacteria will be even more than the conventional growth vegetables which used chemical fertilizer. 10. What's the output ?
output of my ozonizer is 380mg/hour. You have to tell your potential customer that most of the ozonizer in the market is only 100 to 200mg/hour. The stronger the output means the greater the power to process/sterilize our food faster. Meat that soak in the water to be ozonised must be fast in order to prevent it from losing the taste; we only need 15 to 20 minutes to get the job done.
11. Can we drink the ozone water?
Ozoneway machine is not a water filter, you can use it to sterilize things and neutralize pesticides contaminated vegetables; however, it is not advisable to sterilize water and drink immediately as the ozonenated water may kill the good bacteria in our body as well. Unless you are very sure that you will only drink the ozonenated water at least one hour after you ozonenated it because it will need at least 30 to 60 minutes for the ozone to convert back to oxigen leaving no harm for us to drink it. Drinking ozonenated water immediately is never advisable although it may not harm you immediately.
