‘Multi-tasking’ atau membuat beberapa kerja dalam satu masa akan menyebabkan stres kepada pelakunya kerana terpaksa memikirkan beberapa kerja yang perlu diselesaikan dalam sesuatu masa. Ini kerana otak manusia tidak di’tune’ kepada multi-tasking. ‘Multi-tasking’ juga akan menyebabkan kerja yang perlu dihabiskan menjadi lebih lambat di samping menjejaskan kualiti hasil kerja tersebut.
